About Comfort Creatures

Comfort Creatures was founded in 2006 by a small group of volunteers and is incorporated as a non-profit organization in the State of Mississippi. Comfort Creatures of Northeast Mississippi, Inc. became a 501(c)(3) charitable organization in October 2011. Our federal non-profit status is pending.

We currently have 27 active teams visiting almost a dozen sites in northeast Mississippi.

Our members are required to be registered with either Delta Society or Love On A Leash. We also have several R.E.A.D. Teams among our members and we have an active R.E.A.D. program in the Tupelo Public Schools.

One of our members, Tricia Goldman, is an AKC Canine Good Citizen Approved Evaluator (evaluator number 68379).
